Beauty that Shines from Within

Beauty that Shines from Within

Beauty that Shines from Within

“Your body is the harp of your soul. It is yours to bring forth sweet music or confused sounds.” – Kahlil Gibran

As an avid observer of trends and trend predictions, I have noted a significant shift in what we find beautiful in our culture.

Instead of continuing to value youth for the sake of youth and flawlessness for the sake of flawlessness, I find that as people awaken, they are starting to look less for commonly held ideals of perfection in terms of external beauty and more for beauty that shines from within and manifests without in the form of a fresh, natural glow.

Personal authenticity is growing more valuable while plastic perfection is being seen for the illusion that it is.

Any good art designer or plastic surgeon can produce a perfect image. That’s old hat. The new beauty (you might say it is the “original beauty”) is one that shines from within – not just some image of commonly accepted perfection that we are conditioned to call “beauty.”

Clarity and love are the new beauty and, over time, those who embody unconditional love and increase the love-light within themselves will be seen to be (and actually will be) physically more attractive.

Plastic surgery, chemicals and the like place more density and poison in our being. With your New Energy Body you will naturally blossom into greater visual beauty too!

I already see my contemporaries preferring to be around others that are pure of purpose and of spirit.

The people that I know of that are leaders and think for themselves are choosing friends, dates and mates who embody this inner beauty first; beauty for the sake of beauty is not “de rigeur” and will eventually be recognized as meaningless as more and more people awaken to the illusion of the old beauty.

People want to be around other people that make them feel good and are good to others. I mention this specifically because so many of my readers are in search of ways to become more attractive and may have been drawn to this book in an attempt to improve their physical appearance.

That will come; I can assure you – for the rejuvenation of the body, the heart and your hidden energy source are all inexorably connected.

An authentic glow, the result of dropping old patterns, aggression and fears and truly being oneself is the new “hot.”

Are you ready to sizzle?

Live the Life You Believe In

Live the Life You Believe In

Your Beliefs

What I most want to convey is that you must live the life you believe in. One of the most heart-breaking things I hear all day every day from my clients is how other people in their lives attempt to suppress their pursuits and cause them to taper down, shut down, silence and halt their strong calls to do & be & to investigate & explore!

Rule #1: we cannot control other people, nor should we want to.

Rule #2: if we suppress ourselves we destroy ourselves.

Don’t worry about how the ‘others’ in your life will cope when you explore and live the way you are called to. Ask yourself if you would ever aim to hold them back likewise (my guess is you would not – so there’s your litmus test).

Others are just that and only that. We are not here to live their lives or to have them dictate to us. We are here to evolve our own souls and support others where we can. That is healthy relating. I know you are sensitive to the way your path impacts your loved ones. But that cannot be an excuse to stay back. GO! You must explore, express and experience what is for you!

Essential Oil Basics for the Nose, Throat & Hands

Essential Oil Basics for the Nose, Throat & Hands

Peppermint

Using a fresh Q-tip or your pinky finger, place a tiny 1/4 drop of essential oil of peppermint at the entrance to your nasal passages. This will help kill off any rogue microbes you breathe in, protecting your lungs.

Cinnamon Bark

Get essential oil of cinnamon bark (not cinnamon leaf) and, making sure you’re the only one to use it, place the top of your tongue to the top of the little vial so as to only get a drop or less on your tongue (otherwise it’s way too strong/spicy – but if you accidentally take too much there will be an intense heat for exactly 30 seconds which will stop as surely as it started).

Get a vial of cinnamon bark oil for everyone in your care. Teach them to do this throughout the day.

These oils are pathogen slayers and they are adaptogenic, meaning they do whatever the immune system needs them to do. Just don’t get the peppermint or cinnamon oils in your eyes or on your skin or it will be very uncomfortable.

Cooling and Heating

The peppermint is extremely cooling and the cinnamon is very hot. Only ever use carrier oils to deal with accidental over use of essential oils as carrier oils (I.e., olive oil, coconut oil, almond oil, avocado oil, etc.) will decrease the intensity of essential oils but water will drive the essential oils deeper into the tissue.

Don’t be afraid of using essential oils though. They are one of the most effective tools out. Just use them with care and you’ll benefit tremendously! Put a few drops of your favorite essential oil in the palms of your hands throughout the day (rose geranium is lovely and very powerful but lavender, ylang ylang, neroli, etc. are all brilliant) either used neat (meaning without a carrier oil, as in undiluted) or with a bit of pure coconut oil or aloe vera (this makes a great, natural hand sanitizer).

Three Tips to Keep you on Track with your Detox

Three Tips to Keep you on Track with your Detox

3 TIPS TO KEEP ON TRACK WITH YOUR DETOX

  1. Do the best you can in the situation you are in.

You may have to compromise; just make the highest choice for yourself you can under the circumstances. If you can’t get juice one day, have a salad instead.

If you can’t get a good salad, eat the cleanest cooked vegetables you can get. If the choice is white rice or fish, have the fish. If the choice is steak or a baked potato, have the potato (even topped with a little butter).

Eat mindfully, even if it’s not perfect, and resist the urge to overeat and throw all your hard work away. One “off” meal here and there, surrounded by deep greens juiced and chewed, will still bring tremendous results.

  1. As soon as you are able, douse your systems with wheatgrass juice and sprouts and you will neutralize your compromises.

Keep moving forward. Don’t look back and dwell in any way on the adjustments you had to make.

Be proud of yourself for navigating it as well as you did under the circumstances.

  1. Travel with as much as you can to ensure you won’t have too many of these compromised days.

Take frozen wheatgrass, frozen juices and dehydrated seaweed salads you can reconstitute.

Do some recon work beforehand to find organic markets for produce once you get where you are going.

I always ask hotels to put a refrigerator in my room so I can fill it with my produce goodies!
