Essential properties of cleansing foods:
LOW-DENSITY FOODS (rich in life force energy)
People often confuse dense foods, such as oatmeal, nuts, and chicken, with being nutritionally dense and more satisfying. Well, I’m here to say the opposite is actually true.
We gain the most nourishment from high-vibration, life force energy−rich foods, not heavy, dense ones that move sluggishly through the body.
With so much accumulation in the typical modern intestine already, it is unadvisable to consume dense foods (even raw ones, such as raw nuts and cold-pressed oils) unless used only occasionally in small quantities, and then ideally consumed with leafy greens or other water-containing raw vegetables to ease their passage.
Many meats, grains, processed soy products, and nut and-seed-based foods (even raw and organic ones) are very dense. You will find some egg and fish recipes in this book because eggs and fish are the least dense and the easiest to digest of the flesh foods.
There is room in the modern detox diet for nonvegan foods. In fact, foods such as fish and eggs are much less dense and more detox-diet-friendly than many vegetarian, vegan, and raw food staples, such as wheat, soy, and nut-based foods.

Eight Essential Properties of Cleansing Foods
#7 GRAIN-FREE
While grain has been heralded in our culture as a key food group, even the whole-grain variety is not very good for us.
With a few exceptions (which I’ll get to in a moment), most grains are inflammatory in the body, acidic, gluey, yeast-feeding, and difficult to digest. They agitate the intestine, resulting in inflammation, bloating, and fluid imbalances, and contribute greatly to weight gain.
They also reduce mental clarity.
Thus, generally speaking, grains are not an ideal go-to food in the modern diet.
If you love grains and must have them, that’s okay. But if you want superior health, energy, and weight loss, you should avoid a grain-based diet.
Also, keep in mind that sprouted grains are far superior to regular whole grains.
The highest-quality grains are the ancient pseudo-grains, which are gluten-free and easier to digest than cereal grains but do have a similar nutritional profile.
These include millet, quinoa, buckwheat, and amaranth.
Typically, some grains can be included with successful detoxification results, but it is best to avoid them whenever possible and to find nongrain options for your favorite grain-based foods.
Fortunately for all of us, Chef Doris has discovered many brilliant and satisfying ways of doing this in her recipes.

The people that I know of that are leaders and think for themselves are choosing friends, dates and mates who embody this inner beauty first; beauty for the sake of beauty is not “de rigeur” and will eventually be recognized as meaningless as more and more people awaken to the illusion of the old beauty.
People want to be around other people that make them feel good and are good to others. I mention this specifically because so many of my readers are in search of ways to become more attractive and may have been drawn to this book in an attempt to improve their physical appearance.

Italian Salad
makes 2 to 4 servings
INGREDIENTS
1 head romaine, chopped
2 cups arugula, chopped
2 yellow bell peppers, finely chopped
4 Roma tomatoes, chopped
4 sun-dried tomatoes, soaked and chopped
1 zucchini, julienned
1 cup fresh basil, chopped
2 tablespoons cold-pressed olive oil
1 tablespoon cloves garlic, minced
Himalayan salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
METHOD
Mix all vegetables in a large bowl. Dress with the basil, olive oil, sea salt, pepper, and garlic.

Consciousness requires energy.
Ergo, if you want to decrease a person/group’s consciousness, you would do everything you could to separate them from real energy — cutting them off from energetic supply by way of food source, clean air, pure water, tangling up their lives with fear and stress so that energy cannot flow and destroying their energy field with electromagnetic, microwave radiation interference. And so we have these conditions described above – most call it normal. We want higher consciousness but we cannot have it unless we recognize these impediments to energy and rectify them in our lives. This means a full scale calling back of our power. And it is what I teach in my online course, A Life Of Power.
Everything out there in ’the world’ would have us be cut-off from true energy. Why? To remove the single greatest power you can access: higher consciousness. Any decrease in consciousness makes us subject to poor thought, poor actions and destructive choices.
In short, the more you live the ‘world’s way,’ the weaker, more dependent, lethargic and unconscious you’ll become.

A Life Of Power

Switch from Cow’s Milk to Nut Milks
As many of you have probably heard, the excessive farming of almonds (largely due to to the skyrocketing increase in demand for almond milk) is decimating the honey bee population.
What we must understand is that switching from cow’s milk to almond milk is only good insofar as we come to realize that the intake of milk at-large (cow’s milk for cows, monkey milk for monkeys, human milk for humans) beyond weaning age is not appropriate nor part of the design for our bodies. If we must lean on a temporary milk substitute as we transition away from poor social dietary programming, then sure, nut and seed milks are an excellent choice (ideally prepared homemade – but if purchased, stick to those without additives like the sugars, thickeners and oils added to most package nut milks).
Decrease your Consumption
The deeper cause of the decimation of the bees is over-consumption. We must come to terms with the fact that the fully grown adult needs very little food. Most people resist that fact because they are so used to consuming so much that they fear they will not survive or be happy on less. Our bees are asking us to please stop the demand and consume minimally.
It’s pointless to be vegan and yet still over-consume. That’s actually a kind of hypocrisy.
Americans are used to guzzling milk – by the glass, in their cereal, coffee, etc. Switching to nut milks does not give one carte blanche to drink the stuff by the glass or use it in quantities traditionally associated with cow milk consumption. Switch from cow milk to nut/seed milk, yes! But switch off the regular need for a milk-like substance ultimately. Let nut/seed milks be a treat, not a regular thing.
